Agatha Chrisie's 120th Birthday Today, and I can't think of a Holmes pun...

Sorry I've not been online for a few days, I've been ill :(
Anyway, we're relocating to the blog, for various reasons. One of which is that the boss os Sherlocking does not want us sorting it on there, of which I completley understand, sort off.
Anyway, we're opening up a weekly organisation E-Mail service for the contributors, and remember, LINES CLOSE THIS FRIDAY FOR IDEA SUBMISSION.
Plus, I've extended the design contest until the 23rd of September, which is next Thursday. Please email submissions to doctorwhoreversethepolarity@gmail.com .
Article submissions should also go to that address, however, there may be a change.

Also, does anyone know how we get permission to use screencaps? I would like the main bulk of the fanzine to be Fan Art, however, some screencaps would be good...
There will be a few more updates this week as well. Please send me your emails if you are contributing!

With your article, please attach it onto an email as a WORD DOCUMENT, or have it as part of the email. Also on the email, please provide your FULL NAME and a description of how you want the layout to be with any additional images attached you would like to feature.

Page Designer


WE ARE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE TO PROVIDE THE DESIGN FOR THE MAGAZINE.


Overall, the magazine will be edited together on InDesign CS5, and we require ONE PERSON to design the layout of the pages.


I myself will do a few pages, however I cannot do them all.


TO APPLY, YOU MUST PRODUCE A TWO PAGE SPREAD BASED ON AN OVERVIEW OF “A STUDY IN PINK.” You do not have to write the article, we are only looking at how you would lay out the text, images and titles.

The Blind Blogger

Hello all, again...
Recently over at Sherlocking, we have been moved to Fan Creations, and many questions have sprung up about the blog being "fairly hard to find information."  I myself thought that you could not create extra pages, however I was being Blind, a "Blind Blogger," (Like the pun, Blind Blogger, Blind Banker, oh never mind :( ) and made a new FAQ Page.

This page will be updated with any Frequently Asked Questions that are arise. Also, later today and tomorrow, there will be a Idea List Page, Writing Submission Guidelines page and a Contact and About Us Page.

So I hope that helps everyone! Don't forget the closing date for which cover we will have closes THIS FRIDAY!
If your still not sure the project will happen, TRUST ME, it will...
Meanwhile, can anyone make a banner for the blog?

Holmes and the Poll

It's time for the first group descision. (Yeah I know, ain't it awsome!)

Sherlocking member Lissie has put together some amazing covers for the publication, but the only problem is that there are three to choose from.
So... We're going to have a vote on which one everyone wants.

Bellow are the covers, of which are numbered one-three, and all you need to do is comment bellow with the number of the cover.
Lines close FRIDAY the 11TH of SEPTEMBER and on the following Saturday,
I'll post here and on Sherlocking what cover we will have! Simples!

Welcome to 221b Baker Street: Home of not only Sherlock Holmes, but home and the name to the forthcoming Sherlock Fanzine produced by the Sherlockers on http://www.sherlocking.org/.

The issue is currently in production, and is due out later this year which will be packed with Sherlock stuff!

This blog will be a look at the stages of production, and special posts will be sent out from here.
